Young Jeezy’s Baby’s Mother Complains Rapper Reneged On $30k For A New Car In Child Support Deal
Young Jeezy’s ex-fiancée and the mother of his child is upset, claiming the rapper has left her stranded without a court-ordered $30,000 for a new car.
Mahlet “Mahi” Gebremedhin recently filed a motion for contempt against the rapper, accusing him of reneging on an agreement to purchase her a car under their child support deal, according to Bossip.
Per the terms of their agreement—arranged in March 2020—Jeezy, who reportedly makes $135,000 a month, agreed to pay Mahlet $7,500 a month to support their six-year-old daughter, pay for the kid’s school fees, provide the little one with health and life insurance, and give Mahlet $30,000 towards the a new car.
Mahlet claims when she went to purchase a 2020 Jeep Wrangler and sent Jeezy’s lawyers the payment info—with the understanding that she wouldn’t finance any amount over the $30k—his legal team left her hanging. Apparently, lawyers for the Hip-Hop heavyweight claimed his finances were at a standstill due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
