Worker Discovered Dead In Kettle Cooker At Food Processing Plant, Reports Say

Sadly, a New Jersey food processing plant employee, 63, was discovered unresponsive inside a kettle cooker, reports the New York Post. The man, Dale R. Devilli was located inside the machine on Monday close to 8 a.m.
Officials headed to the Lassonde Pappas plant in Cumberland County after receiving calls of the accident. Although the investigation is ongoing, Devilli’s cause of death isn’t being examined as suspicious. It’s unclear what caused the fatality. The 63-year-old man’s death is also being investigated by the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
“Early Monday morning, an accident that caused a fatal injury to one of our employees occurred at our facility. A spokesperson for Lassonde Pappas said,
“We are devastated by the loss of our friend and colleague and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.”
