The queen of daytime talk never wastes time when it comes to clearing her own name from gossip, and that’s just what she did this morning during her infamous “Hot Topics” segment of her show.
Wendy addressed the “accusations being thrown” around about her love life after rumors began swirling, indicating that she and New York City jeweler, William Selby, were dating following a dinner date on February 21.
The 55-year-old host informed her audience that she is still a single woman following her divorce from ex Kevin Hunter.
“Will is my friend we are not a couple and I do not have a boyfriend, that’s it,” Wendy said. “If I did [have a boyfriend], I wouldn’t have been out with Will.”
Wendy said she and Will also stopped by a studio session after dinner, to support rapper Blac Papi.
Wendy seemingly teased fans with cryptic posts from her night out with Selby: sharing a photo of herself in the back of a vehicle with the caption,
“He sent his car for me..dinner in pursuit. Happy Friday!”, then a snap in the studio showing her and Will sitting close with their hands on each other’s knees.
