UK Railway Ticket Office Worker Dies From Coronavirus After Being Spit On By Stranger

Belly Mujinga, a London railway ticket officer, died from coronavirus, two weeks after being spit on by a Covid-19 positive railway passenger.
Mujinga was working at London’s Victoria station when an unidentified person said he was infected with coronavirus and spit on her and a co-worker. Days after the assault both women fell ill.
Mujinga, who suffered with respiratory problems, was admitted to the hospital and put on a ventilator. She tragically died fourteen days after the assault.
Mujinga’s husband, Lusamba Gode Katalay, told Sky News the Southern Railway Service didn’t provide his late wife with proper protective equipment. The British Transport Police are looking for the man who assaulted the two workers.
