Two Texas Middle Schoolers Plotted To Kill Their Fathers And Run Away Together

On Tuesday night, police responded to a call after a 12 year old in with a gunshot wound to the head was found in the middle of a street in Weatherford, Texas. Inside, they found the child’s father, who had been shot in the stomach.
After investigating the incident, authorities discovered that the female minor had conspired with another girl in a nearby town to kill their fathers, steal a car, and run away to Georgia. Only one of the middle schoolers went through with the plan, as the other backed out.
The injured minor and her father were taken to a nearby hospital for their injuries, and updates on their conditions have yet to be made public. The uninjured child is now facing conspiracy charges. In order to protect the identities of the minors, no names will be released.
