Two Suspects Arrested After Brutally Attacking Woman and Then Having Sex In Her Bed While She Died In Next Room

Two people are facing charges of first-degree murder and vehicle theft after being accused of murdering 29-year-old Sarah Maguire of Oklahoma, and then having sex in her bed as she was

“struggling to live”

in another room, authorities say.

According to KNWA, an affidavit obtained by Tulsa officials say 28-year-old Nicholas Johnson, and 25-year-old Brinlee Denison brutally attacked the victim with a crowbar in her home on Jan 4. Officials discovered Maguire when they went to her home for a wellness check and found her unresponsive. Reports say she had

“obvious signs of trauma to her head and face.”

Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

The victim’s family informed officials that her credit cards and vehicle were stolen. Shortly after, the suspects, Johnson and Denison were arrested after they were located sleeping in the victim’s stolen vehicle at a Whataburger in Fayetteville, Arkansas

The couple gave officials,

“a full confession of beating the victim about the head with a crowbar, fleeing the scene by stealing the victim’s vehicle, and funding the trip with the victim’s stolen credit cards.”

Johnson admitted that he and Denison were involved intimately; however, she was in a relationship with Maguire as well. The affidavit says, Johnson “was jealous of the relationship between the victim and Denison.”

Johnson also admitted that Maguire was still alive after the couple beat her with the crowbar and that he and Denison

“had sex in the victim’s bed after the murder,”

adding that,

“he could still hear the victim in the living room struggling to live, while he was having sex with Denison in the bedroom.”

Johnson noted that Denison aided him with planning the murder.
