Twitter Users Are Saying The Attack On A NYPD Detective Was Staged

Twitter users think the viral video of a man striking a NYC police detective with what appeared to be a stick may have been staged reports Daily Dot

In the video, viewers can see a man walking behind an investigator and hitting him with a stick. The investigator fell to his knees as if he was in pain and the attacker went on to be chased by two other officers.

Yet, Twitter isn’t buying it. One Twitter user tweeted,

“As a professional film critic I give this short film an F-. Incompetently staged, poorly acted, wildly unconvincing. Coleman Francis-level amateurishness. Go back to film school!”

Another user wrote,

“Insultingly bad copaganda.  At least hire professional actors.”

The comments continued as the users called this incident out as being staged, and a terrible staged incident at that.

However, according to Daily Dot although many believe it was fake there’s no

“available evidence at this time [that] proves it is actually fake.”

The man who initiated the attack, Akeele Morgan, 25, has been arrested on

“both felony and misdemeanor charges including assault and criminal possession of a weapon, ”

reports Daily Dot.

#Clique, What y’all think? Does this look like a staged incident?
