Amid confusion over the Coronavirus, singer Keri Hilson has come under fire for sharing false information about COVID-19.
The “Turning Me On” singer took to Twitter to share a conspiracy theory that links 5G wireless technology to the proliferation of COVID-19.
“People have been trying to warn us about 5G for YEARS,” Hilson said on Twitter over the weekend. “Petitions, organizations, studies…what we’re going thru is the affects of radiation.”
Hilson posted in a since-deleted tweet.
“5G launched in CHINA. Nov 1, 2019. People dropped dead. See attached & go to my IG stories for more. TURN OFF 5G by disabling LTE!!!” she added.
Hilson went on to share a screenshot-captured conspiracy theory readings linked to an IG account where she asked her followers,
“Why do you think the virus is not happening in Africa like that?”
Needless to say, Twitter took it upon themselves to drag Keri to the moon and back. Not sure how this will affect her return to music…..
