Tsunami Advisory In Effect For U.S. West Coast After Volcanic Eruption In Tonga

If it’s the end of the world just say that, as a tsunami advisory went into effect for the West Coast and Alaska after a volcano erupted in the pacific.
Satellite footage caught one of the most violent volcano eruptions ever, following the Hunga Tonga–Hunga Haʻapai underwater volcano near Tonga. The boom from the volcano was reportedly heard as far away as New Zealand.
The US tsunami warning system issued the advisory for the following West Coast states, Alaska, and Hawaii, and Oregon. The National Weather Service, “potential for strong currents or waves dangerous to those in or very near the water.” Waves 1 to 3 feet high were expected along the Oregon and Washington coast.
