Todd & Julie Chrisley Denied Bond As They Appeal Verdict, Forced To Report To Prison In Days

Reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley from Bravo’s

“Chrisley Knows Best”

are to report to prison on January 17, RadarOnline reported.

A Georgia federal judge denied the couple’s request for bond on Tuesday pending an appeal in their $36 million bank fraud conviction. Todd, 53, was sentenced to 12 years in prison in November 2022 and will serve his sentence at FPC Pensacola in Florida, reports reveal. Julie, 50, is fighting to serve her seven-year sentence at the

“low-security Federal Correctional Institution”

in Tallahassee, Florida, where former socialite turned convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell is being held.

The

stars will serve 16 months of probation upon release. The couple has maintained their innocence accusing their former employee Mark Braddock of identity theft after he was fired in 2012. Todd accused Braddock of,

“creating phony documents forging [their] signatures, and threatening other employees with violence if they said anything,” he wrote in a 2019 Instagram post. “We even discovered that he illegally bugged our home,”

he continued.

The couple will still be allowed to communicate via letters, emails, and

“possibly mail each other packages,”

according to the outlet. RadarOnline reported that the duo is focused on spending the rest of their time with family.
