TikTok User Killed In Car Crash Days After Posting About Never Getting In An Accident

A Florida 18-year-old, who boasted on TikTok that she had never got into an accident, died less than a week later from a head-on vehicle collision, the New York Post reported.

On March 17th, high school senior Kara Santorelli was driving down a highway in Escambia County, Florida when a Chevrolet sedan driving the wrong way smashed into her Nissan SUV. Both Santorelli and the other driver, who has yet to be publicly identified, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Six days before the fatal car wreck, Santorelli bragged about her safety record, as she posed in her Nissan with the caption: “When they try call me a bad driver but I’ve never hit a person or an actual car.” Despite her not being the cause of the vehicle collision, the video has since gone viral, amassing more than 15 million views.

“We hold tight to beautiful memories that she had left with us,” officials from Santorelli’s high school said in a statement. “Her beautiful smile and kind spirit will continue to be in the hearts of her friends and classmates. We also extend our condolences to her family, praying that they find comfort and strength in the midst of their grief.”
