According to BBC, three people broke into a shoe shop in the central Peruvian city of Huancayo and robbed the store of over 200 sneakers. The owner of the store said the thieves managed to escape with over $13,000 worth of shoes. Reports added that, surprisingly, they left with over $13,000 worth of shoes for the right foot only.

Footage showed the thieves destroying the padlocks, which allowed them to enter the store. They utilized a tricycle to take the shoes. Chief Eduan Díaz told a news outlet,

“We have gathered evidence at the scene… The unusual thing about this robbery is that shoes from only the right foot have been stolen.”

“With the footage and the fingerprints, we will be able to locate those individuals,”

he added.
