Swizz Beatz And Timbaland Turn Down Millions To Keep Verzuz 100% Black Owned
Verzuz battles just keep getting bigger and better.
The Caribbean was well represented tonight with Beenie Man and Bounty Killer going hit-for-hit on Instagram Live. This may be the first Verzuz with no wifi issues, thanks to Digicel. As the popularity of the platform increases, Verzuz creators Swizz Beatz and Timbaland took to Instagram to discuss the importance of ownership.
Swizz said Verzuz is going down in the history books.
”Tonight represented the authentic zone of why we didn’t sell 50% of the company for millions of dollars. Vultures are wanting to put a name next to the name. We haven’t made one cent off of Verzuz yet, but that doesn’t mean we’re not a business.”
