Sweetie Pie’s Star Tim Norman Pleads Not Guilty in Nephew’s Murder-for-Hire Plot

“Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” star James “Tim” Norman has pleaded NOT guilty to charges related to the murder-for-hire plot of his 21-year-old nephew, Andre Montgomery.

Norman, an exotic dancer, and an insurance agent, were indicted after prosecutors believed they conspired to have Montgomery killed and collect his $450,000 life insurance money, KSDK reports.

Once in custody, Norman was charged with “conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in the commission of a murder-for-hire plot”—an offense punishable by death or life in prison.

Norman’s attorney argued for his release from jail on bond, saying he’d live with his mother. His release into his mom’s care, per Norman’s attorney, would also grant his two children the opportunity to visit him. “He would be employed in the family business,” Norman’s lawyer said. “We don’t believe he’s a flight risk.”
