Student Outraged After Teacher Admits To Class That His “Grandfather Probably Was In Tulsa Shooting The Black people”

A Tiktoker is flabbergasted after her teacher admitted that his grandfather was likely in
“Tulsa, shooting the black people.”
If you’re unaware, the Tulsa Race Massacre that occurred in 1921 was the destruction of a thriving black business district known as Black Wall Street. The wreckage was caused by white residents which ultimately led to the downfall of the community. So, when the teacher made those comments, one can understand why it would be offensive.
In another video posted by Sommersw0rld, she explained that her professor also admitted to having a whip owned by his family that was used on slaves. Now, although the TikToker said her teacher admitted that he was disowned by his family because he didn’t agree with their beliefs, his initial comments left some TikTokers feeling slightly offended.
Some Tiktok users commented advising the student to drop her class and also inform the administration about the teacher’s comments. One Tiktoker commented,
“Well that’s an introduction… *drops class*.”
Another TikTok user commented,
“the way I’d send that to my department dean so fast.”
