Shots Fired At Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Resort in Florida

Gunshots have reportedly been fired at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida after an SUV led police on a high-speed chase, breaching two security checkpoints this morning.
A black SUV heading toward the resort main entrance blew through both security checkpoints and led Florida Highway Patrol on a pursuit that resulted in gunfire.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office says two people are now in custody following the chase, which also involved a police helicopter. Authorities are still trying to determine which agency pulled the trigger. The FBI is currently responding to the incident, according to sources.
Donald Trump and Melania were scheduled to depart the White House for Mar-a-Lago this afternoon, but it’s unclear if the shooting has deterred travel plans.
