We’ve all seen Raven-Symoné blossom into a Hollywood star since childhood as she starred in shows like; ‘The Cosby Show’ ‘Mr. Cooper’, and ‘That’s So Raven’. The 35-year-old joined the cast of morning talk show ‘The View’ in 2015 where she says it was a not so pleasant experience.
On a new episode of TV One’s show ‘Uncensored’, Raven-Symoné opens up about the struggles in her career growing up, her weight loss journey and more. On this new episode she talks about being asked to join the cast of daytime show ‘The View’ for season 18. The disney star says she was blindsided and that the show stressful for her.
The actress said, “that show was one of the most stressful shows I’ve ever been apart of. The fact that I wasn’t a big political person to begin with and they sold me on this idea as it was going to be the new pop culture show.” But once she got on the show, it was something totally different.
Raven warned the producers, “Trust me, ya’ll don’t want to hear what I have to say. I am a millennial, I don’t believe in any of this old school stuff that actually running the country. I’m gonna get in trouble. Ultimately…we where I am now…and I’m okay with that.”
