People Think You Can Get The Coronavirus From Corona Beer

Do you think you can get the Coronavirus from Corona beer? If you do, then you are not alone.
5WPR surveyed 737 American beer drinkers over the age of 21, and that found that “38% of beer-drinking Americans would not buy Corona under any circumstances now.”
Of those polled, who drink Corona, only 4% would stop drinking it. However, 14% would not order it in public.
When it comes to how many think you can get the virus from it, 16% were not sure if it gave it to you.
Ronn Torossian, Founder, and CEO of 5WPR says.
“While the brand has claimed that consumers understand there’s no linkage between the virus and the beer company, this is a disaster for the Corona brand. After all, what brand wants to be linked to a virus which is killing people worldwide?”
What do the two of them have in common? Corona means crown in Latin. If you look at the label on the bottle, then you will see a golden crown on it. According to Business Insider, the “name was derived from the crown shape its viral particles form. ”
That is their only connection. So go get a lime, cut it up, put in the bottle and have a Corona without fearing it will give you Coronavirus. A headache yes if you have had too many; but not the virus.
