Over 2,700 NYC Residents Quarantined in Homes Over Coronavirus Fears

Over 2,700 NYC residents quarantined in homes over coronavirus fears. Although most are quarantined at their own will, the Manhattan health care worker who traveled to Iran and her husband are under mandatory quarantine.

The first person to test positive for coronavirus in New York City is a health-care worker that’s traveled to Iran with her husband. Now thousands of people are separating themselves from the general public in hopes of keeping away from the virus.

Public schools and some public transportations have been canceled since the outbreak. “You’re not going to eliminate the spread but you can limit the spread. Testing is very important and that’s why the CDC, the federal government’s now allowing us to test is a very big deal,” said Gov. Cuomo.

What’s y’all thoughts on this?
