Off-Duty Officer Played “Audio Porn” Over County’s Police Radio New Year’s Morning

After ending his shift during the early hours of New Year’s Day, an officer of the Fairfax County Police Department accidentally broadcasted “audio porn” over the department’s internal radio system, as reported by authorities.

“The portable radio was inadvertently activated while the officer was driving,” the department said in a statement. “Our investigation revealed that the off-duty officer was listening to ‘audio porn’ over his Bluetooth in his vehicle, which was captured on his activated police radio.”

The department explained that the pornographic audio played for more than five minutes, starting at around 12:30 A.M., on a channel used primarily by dispatchers and first responders. According to Washington Times, a spokesperson for the Fairfax County Police Department has stated that the incident is still under investigation by Internal affairs and that the police officer in question will remain unidentified.
