Monica Opens Up To How The Toll Of Her Divorce Has Had On Her & Her Kids
Monica reveals to a friend in an extended clip of ”T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” how the toll of her divorce with ex Shannon Brown has had on her and the kids.
”Everywhere I go the first thing that comes up is the divorce. I’m private about it in my own way because this is not somebody I hate. This is somebody I love. I wanna protect him and the kids. It’s like everyday it’s a uphill battle.”

During the conversation with her friend Tammy, Monica details how much the media asks her about the situation. She even broke down how her kids were being affected.
Although the marital issues weren’t a secret, she says she didn’t want the kids waking up reading about it. People have been so nosy and have even harassed Monica’s kids. Monica told her friend,
“They should have the freedom to be able to walk around and not be asked questions. It’s people DMing the kids asking the kids private questions.”
