Missing Guatemalan Rapper Found Dead In Barrel In Trunk Of Car, Police Searching For Motive

An up-and-coming Guatemalan rapper was found dead inside a barrel in the trunk of an abandoned car in Guatemala, authorities said, per the NY Post.
Nesly Monterroso, 27, was reported missing three days before her body was found. According to the U.S. Sun, Monterroso was last seen leaving an office she owned in Guatemala City. Police later discovered the remains of Monterroso after residents reported a
“suspicious-looking”
vehicle.
The young artist was killed by a strong blow to the head, according to the outlet, which cited the National Institute of Forensic Sciences. An investigation is still underway.
