A Detroit man informed investigators that he made $2,000 daily by selling marijuana from an at-home vending machine, according to Detroit Free Press.
He was recently arrested for having illegal weapons in his home and later revealed to federal agents how he made thousands of dollars per day when they showed up at his home back in March with a search warrant. The man is being charged with illegally possessing guns.
In a court filing, an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives revealed that he
“owned and operated the marijuana vending machine attached to the residence for four years, making approximately $2,000 per day.”
Agents had knowledge of the machine after purchasing from the man to gather evidence. Officials also retrieved 18 guns from the home,
“dozens of rounds of ammunition and several pounds of suspected marijuana,”
per the news outlet.
He was later released on bond.
