A Minnesota man, who claims he’s been at

with pesky squirrels on his property, was arrested after attempting to shoot a squirrel, but instead shooting through his neighbor’s window, Insider reports.

“war”

with squirrels trying to go inside his bird feeder for two years now. Powers reportedly fired six rounds in an attempt to kill a red squirrel he had seen going in his feeder but hit his neighbor’s home instead. The neighbor said when he found bullet holes on the siding of his house, a bullet on the window ledge of his son’s bedroom, and broken glass on the floor, he called the East Grand Forks Police Department, reports state.

Grand Forks Police arrested Powers who allegedly shot six rounds from his bedroom window with a .22 caliber rifle, reports reveal. Powers is facing two years behind bars if convicted and multiple charges, including,

“recklessly handling a dangerous weapon and felony discharging a firearm within a municipality,”

The AP reported.
