Lizzo Sued For Not Crediting Writers For Hit Song “Trust Hurts”

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – SEPTEMBER 24: Lizzo performs at Radio City Music Hall on September 24, 2019 in New York City.
Lizzo’s smash hit “Truth Hurts” reportedly had the help of some writers that she did not give credit to. Now they’re suing!
According to counterclaims filed on Friday in California federal court, Lizzo and her credited producer are not 100 percent the sole songwriters of the hit. Writers claim that she would never have the Grammy award-winning song without them.
L.A writers Justin Raisen, Jeremiah Raisen, and Justin “Yves” Rothman are suing for not getting credited.
Lizzo does confirm the fact that she has been in writing sessions in L.A before the song blew up, but denies having any help on the writing of the song.
Y’all think Lizzo had help and should pay them or Nah?
