Josie Harris Was Involved in $20 Million Trial With Floyd Mayweather Jr At The Time of Her Death

The Blast
Josie Harris, the mother of three of Floyd Mayweather Jr’s children, was found dead in her car last night. According to TMZ, they do not suspect foul play.
Harris and Mayweather were together for 15 years, and it ended in 2010 when she accused him of domestic battery. He was arrested for the crime, and eventually pled guilty to misdemeanor battery. He was sentenced to 90 days but served a little over 2 months.
In 2015, the boxer sat down with Katie Couric, and she asked him about the fateful night.
“Did I kick, stomp and beat somone. No, that did not happen. I look in your face and I say, ‘no, it didn’t happen.’
Floyd Mayweather Jr to Katie Couric
“Did I restrain a woman that was on drugs, Yes, I did.”
Those words are coming back to haunt him. Harris wasted no time back in 2015 and filed a $20 million defamation lawsuit against her ex. In 2018, he appealed to have the case thrown out, but this was one of the rare fights he actually lost
The two were expected to go to trial on December 7th according to The Blast. No word if he will have his day in court over it, but I highly doubt it
