Jay Z And Beyonce Sit Down During The Nation Anthem
Beyoncé, Jay Z and Blue Ivy chose to respectfully stay seated for the National Anthem at Super Bowl LIV although Jay Z is a big partner of the league now.
The Carter family was sitting a few rows back from the field and opted to remain seated during Demi Lovato’s performance of the National Anthem. A guy who appeared to be the family’s bodyguard was seen standing and so was everyone else around them.
DJ Khaled came by after the performance to say hi to the family. Looks like Jay Z is standing with Kaepernick after all. He spoke Saturday about not turning his back on Kaepernick or steering the former quarterback’s social justice initiative in a different direction.
