According to The Blast, the lawyer ahead of Gervonta Davis’ domestic violence case has entered a plea of not guilty.
Last week, a video surfaced showing Davis roughing up his baby’s mother, Dretta Star at a charity basketball game. As a result of this viral video, Davis turned himself into police in which he was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. He then posted bail and was released.
Davis took to Instagram and admitted to being tough, but says he would never hit the mother of his kid. The police department released a statement, “As a result of an ongoing investigation after being notified through social media and the victim, on February 1, 2020, Davis was observed battering his former girlfriend who has a child together, Davis surrendered himself to Coral Gables police detectives assigned to the case.” He is set to be in court on March 3rd.
