Fugitive Arrested For Allegedly Beating, Kidnapping, Sexually Assaulting Elderly Woman And Leaving Her For Dead
A Nevada man is behind bars for allegedly breaking into an elderly woman’s home, strangling her, sexually assaulting her, tying her up, and kidnapping her, in what authorities say was a revenge attack, per Fox News.
On the evening of Nov. 21st, Ryan Sanders broke into the 73-year-old victim’s home. Reports state that the woman had woken up to Sanders allegedly sitting on her chest. He then strangled her and told her she was
“going to die”,
according to an arrest warrant per Fox News. Authorities told the outlet that Sanders demanded,
“to know where the money and guns are in the house.”
He then proceeded to sexually assault the victim multiple times, reports reveal. Sanders went on to force the woman into the trunk of her car. He also packed the victim’s computer, purse, personal documents, and other belongings as well, Fox 5 reported.
According to the arrest warrant Sanders drove to multiple locations before returning to the victim’s house where he attempted to sexually assault her again. Sanders taped a plastic bag over the woman’s head and tied her up. He also allegedly hit her over the head with a heavy object, which resulted in her passing out. Sanders left the woman for dead however, the victim woke up the next morning and managed to escape with the help of a neighbor. She was brought to a local hospital.
Sanders allegedly tried selling the woman’s two cars and was found days later 65 miles outside of Las Vegas. He was taken into custody and faces multiple charges including:
“attempted sexual assault, attempted murder, first-degree kidnapping, false imprisonment, residential burglary, grand larceny, sexual assault, and battery,”
