A woman wanted for fraud was busted after applying for a job at a New Jersey sheriff’s office, NY Post reports.
Police said Zyeama Johnson applied to be a security guard at the station. They quickly learned that the 27-year-old was on the run from a crime she committed in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, reports state. Hudson County Sheriff Frank Schillari told the outlet that they called Zyeama down to the station
“under the guise of a job interview.”
Johnson was arrested upon arrival. Officers allegedly found two stolen credit cards that Johson had in her possession at the time of her arrest, Schillari said. She now faces credit card theft charges in addition to the prior charges she had in Pennsylvania. According to reports Johnson,
“was also wanted on 10 bench warrants for failure to appear in court on traffic charges in Jersey City.”
