Former Gangster ‘White Boy Rick’ Arrested For Attacking Girlfriend After He Said The Wrong Name

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY CORRECTIONS

A well-known ex-gangster from Detroit turned undercover FBI informant was apprehended again after reportedly assaulting his girlfriend who became angry with him because he said the incorrect name while they were engaging in sexual activity, reports the New York Post

53-year-old Richard Wershe Jr. also known as White Boy Rick was taken into custody on Wednesday after attacking the woman in their condo in Miami, reports WPLG-TV. The unnamed girlfriend claimed that they began arguing on Saturday when he

“uttered another woman’s name.”

She attempted to get out of bed; however, Wershe grasped her hand and nabbed a diamond bracket and necklace he previously gifted her.

The woman informed officials that she managed to get away by tossing a shoe at him, yet she missed. Shortly after, Wershe punched her in the chest.  A bystander, who didn’t specify why they were at the scene, confirmed the woman’s story. Officials say the unidentified woman waited until Tuesday to report the encounter because she was scared about her immigration status. The man was later arrested and charged with felony robbery by sudden snatching and a misdemeanor battery charge, reports The Post.

He was later released on a $5,000 bond on Wednesday.
