Chloe Cherry, Euphoria star, has been arrested after reportedly stealing a blouse from a local story. Radar reports that the shirt was a mere $28 and the incident occurred in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the actress’ hometown.
Surveillance footage shows Cherry taking the Moda International shirt into a dressing room. Although she paid for some other items, she failed to pay for the blouse and it wasn’t found in the dressing room, reports Lancaster Online. A complaint says the actress admitted to taking the $28 item and gave it to the police.
Cherry’s rep revealed another story regarding the incident, they told TMZ,
“In December, there was confusion over a blouse that wasn’t properly charged to my client’s credit card. In no way did she ‘admit’ to taking the blouse, since that was not the case. This story seems to be more about a local store trading on a celebrity’s name more than anything else.”
The store owner reflected on the theft saying,
“I know it sounds piddly, but when it comes down to it, we’re all small businesses. You’re stealing from your neighbors.”
