Dr. Dre And Jimmy Iovine Donate Free Meals And COVID-19 Testing To Compton Residents
Compton’s hometown hero, Dr. Dre, and his record exec friend Jimmy Iovine are reportedly donating funds to cover COVID-19 testing and free meals for residents in the Compton area, according to The Press-Telegram.
Compton Mayor Aja Brown said in a statement,
“Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine have always been great advocates and supporters of the City of Compton.” She continued, “Increasing access to food and vital healthcare are some of the most important ways we can make an impact for our community in this time of need.”

Mayor Brown said she hopes the extraordinary gesture will inspire others around the country to come together and support there neighborhoods the best they can.
“Even in a time of social distancing, this contribution is a strong testament to how we can still come together to support the communities we love.”
