Da Babybetter get his lawyers ready because that Miami promoter he allegedly assaulted is fighting back through a lawsuit!
According to TMZ, concert promoter Kenneth Carey filed a lawsuit against DaBaby, his entertainment company and a few of his crew members for allegedly attacking him and flaming out on a deal they supposedly made to host an event. Carey claims Baby agreed to host an event for $20k. Carey also arranged for Baby’s transportation through rentals cars but one of them was damaged by Da Baby’s team.
But Carey claims the day he was supposed to pay Baby, the rapper asked him for an additional $10k on the spot to cover the damage to the car, which apparently got billed to DaBaby and his crew. Ken says DaBaby insisted it was the least Ken could do since he agreed to host the event for way cheaper than he normally charges. But, Ken says after he refused to pay the extra $10k, that’s when Da Baby and his goons whooped his ass, pulled his pants down, beat him up and poured apple juice all over him. He also says they stole his phone, money, and credit card.
Carey is suing DaBaby for $6 million over battery, breach of contract, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and more.
