Coachella concertgoers no longer have to be vaccinated in order to go to the Southern California festival, the event organizers have announced.
The official Instagram page for the event posted today that instead of making people get the jab to go, a negative test within 72 hours will now suffice for entry.
After seeing first-hand the low transmission data and successful implementation of safety protocols at our other festivals this past month, we feel confident we can update our health policy,” the post read.
You may remember… a few months ago, the event made a big deal about requiring vaccines to come, saying it was in everyone’s interest. It looks like the big bosses changed their minds.
The festival will take place over two weekends next year: April 15 – 17 and April 22 – 24.
Clique, are you glad they changed their tune about vaccines?
