 Caregiver Steals $13,000 Engagement Ring and Credit Cards from Elderly Patient Dying of Coronavirus

Cov-Idiot, caregiver Elizabeth Daniels, 29, is in police custody for allegedly robbing her elderly patient as the woman died of Covid-19.

Elizabeth stole and pawned Barbara Gust’s $13K diamond engagement ring several days before the 86-year-old died from coronavirus, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office, per the New York Post.

The Denver Police Department issued a warrant for Elizabeth’s arrest after Barbra’s family noticed several charges made to her credit card the day she died. The family realized the alleged theft while making arrangements with a funeral home.

Elizabeth is charged with theft from an at-risk senior, identity theft, providing a false statement to a pawnbroker and criminal possession of a financial transaction device, according to the DA’s office.

The Denver Police Department has recovered Barbra’s pawned engagement ring.
