While Coronavirus is ravishing the World, Africa barely has any cases. South Africa has the most on the continent at 95, and almost all the other countries are at less than 10 cases.
That sounds like a good thing, but Bill Gates, who has been trying to cure Malaria there, has a dire warning for them. He recently gave a chilling speech at the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Seattle.
“This disease, if it’s in Africa, is more dramatic than if it’s in China,” adding, “not trying to minimize what’s going on in China in any way.”

If that is not scary enough, he elaborated on what a pandemic, like the Coronavirus, can do.
“This is a huge challenge.
“We’ve always known that the potential for either a naturally caused or intentionally caused pandemic is one of the few things that could disrupt health systems, economies and cause more than 10 million excess deaths.”

According to GeekWire, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed $100 million to fighting coronavirus.
