Remember a few years ago when everyone speculated Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar had tension between them?

Well now, Big Sean is addressing the beef rumors and clearing the air, as he spoke with Joe Budden about the rumored feud on Budden’s “Pull Up” series.

When Kendrick hopped on Sean’s track “Control” in 2013 and called out numerous rappers on his controversial verse, it was heavily assumed that the shots were also directed at Sean and that the two were not on good terms.

Then, Sean seemingly clapped back on “No More Interviews” three years later; but told Joe the diss wasn’t aimed at Kendrick at all.

“I remember going online and seeing, ‘Oh, is he talking about Kendrick?’” Sean recalled. “Cause I was talking about people who rap fast. I wasn’t beefing with nobody. I was literally addressing a whole f*cking—I’m just rapping, ni*ga. It wasn’t like a specific person or else I would’ve said his name. So I see and I’m like, ‘That’s some bullsh*t.’ So I didn’t give no energy to it.”

Fast forward a few years, the two MC’s have sorted out their differences and have been on good terms ever since. “Got his number and we communicated,” Sean revealed. “The respect is mutual. It was literally nothing.”

Yes, Kings! Bring peace and light back to Hip Hop!
