Babyface Reveals That He Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Babyface turns 62 (can you believe it?) today, and he took to social media to thank everyone for their birthday wishes. As the post went on, he revealed that he and his family recently tested positive for Coronavirus.
“I feel so blessed to be able to celebrate another birthday. I tested positive for the Covid19 virus, as did my family. It’s an incredibly scary thing to go through my friends. I’m happy to report we have now tested negative and are on our way back to full health.”

That was not the only news he shared in that post. He wanted to let everyone know that he officially accepted Swizz Beatz & Timbaland’s invitation to participate with his “little brother, Teddy Riley” in what he calls a “Celebration of Black Music Excellence.”
Teddy vs. Babyface will go live on April 18th at 9p EST on the Grammy-winning singer’s Instagram page. He also wanted to let us know there is a dress code for the event.
“Ladies… put on your red dress…light the candles, pour some wine, and don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes.”
