21-Year-Old Woman Fatally Shot After Beating A Man In A Basketball Game, Reports Say

Sadly, a 21-year-old woman from Dallas has been fatally shot by a
“friend”
after beating him in a basketball game, reports the New York Post. Asia Womack was shot Monday evening after playing basketball with the man, according to Fox 4.
Asia’s mother, Andrea Womack said,
“This was supposed to be a friend of Asia’s. She’s eaten with the man, she’s fed him, and he turned on her and killed her in a vicious way.”
According to the family, Asia won a basketball game against the man, and during the game, trash-talking ensued. The man reportedly took his family home before returning and striking Asia. The 21-year-olf was discovered on the sidewalk and transported to the hospital where she was later declared dead.
Juanita Smith, Asia’s aunt, informed NBC DFW that the family hasn’t been taking the horrific news easy, adding,
“I just don’t understand why you kill somebody over a basketball game.”
Kristin Lowman a police spokeswoman told Fox 4 News,
“Detectives are still working the case. They’ve been working it since Monday night trying to find justice for Miss Womack.”
