21-Year-Old Woman Arrested After Fatally Stabbing Her Younger Sister For Flirting With Her Boyfriend

21-year-old Fatiha Marzan was arrested after reportedly murdering her 20-year-old sister. Fatiha fatally stabbed her sister after finding out that she was flirting with her boyfriend. The incident occurred on September 26 close to 4:30 a.m. Sayma was stabbed in a bedroom she shared with Fatiha at their family’s home in Orlando, per the New York Post.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Fatiha learned her boyfriend and younger sister were flirting with each other as they traded messages through a video game they were playing together. Reports noted that Fatiha and the unidentified boy had been in a long-distance relationship as they’ve been together for five years.
The 21-year-old then went on to murder her sister after learning her boyfriend told her sister that he loved her. Two weeks before the fatal stabbing, she bought a
“dagger style knife set.”
Reports went on to say that she concealed the weapons in the closet and waited until her family went to bed before stabbing Sayma in the chest three to four times. Fatiha then called officials hours after the stabbing, which she then admitted to stabbing her younger sister. Officials discovered Sayma unresponsive inside of the home.
Fatiha has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held in Orange County Jail with no bond.
