“Blame it on the alcohol,” seems to be the motto in the case of Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion, as an alleged text from the “Say It” singer to the “Savage” spitter—sent on the fateful night she was shot in the foot—claims he was “drunk” during their bloody exchange.
In the hours following Megan’s July 12 shooting, a remorseful Tory reportedly sent the Texas native a message begging her forgiveness. He texted, “I know u prolly never gone talk to me again, but I genuinely want u to know I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart,” according to TMZ.
Though the fallen-from-grace “Quarantine Radio” host never references “shooting” or a gun, he reportedly acknowledges subjecting Megan to some aggression, saying “I was just too drunk.”
Tory adds, “None the less s**t should have never happened and I can’t change what did. I just feel horrible,” and repeats, “Cuz I genuinely just got too drunk.”
Megan—who, after several weeks of silence on the matter, publicly outed Tory as her shooter—is believed to have NEVER responded to the R&B boomer’s “sorry” text.
Tory has NOT been charged for the shooting.
