Female artists are still being bashed for their use of sexually raunchy lyrics in the in songs like men do. So, Saweetie is speaking out against the double standard, and is refusing to dampen her freaky flow—despite society’s side eye.

The “My Type” rapper makes it clear, that if men can rap about whatever they want women should be able to do the exact same. Saweetie acknowledges the critics’ dry concerns about women fully expressing their sexual prowess in music, but stands firm that, as artists, ladies should be celebrated—not shunned—when they let their freak flags fly.
