Philadelphia Man Pulls Gun On Black Man After Social Distancing Dispute

A Philadelphia bar owner seated outside a restaurant was caught on camera pulling a gun on a Black man who allegedly yelled at the patrons for their lack of social distancing.

The Black man yelled at them for not wearing masks or social distancing, witness Liz Krieger told the Philadelphia Inquirer. Then, customers shouted at the man to leave. As the man shouted “MAGA privilege” Jamie Atlig, who owns a nearby Infusion Lounge got up to confront him yelling back, “Trump 2020!” according to Krieger.

In the Twitter video, Atlig then pulls out his gun, prompting some customers, including Krieger, to rush to the Black man’s defense. Atlig’s attorney alleges his client is a licensed gun owner and only got out his weapon in defense.

Krieger said the man only took out his bike lock and wasn’t a threat to anyone because he had a right to yell — they weren’t socially distancing.
