Tennessee rapper, Nuke Bizzle—real name Fontrell Antonio Baines—is in some serious legal shizzle.
The “EDD” spitter, best known for rap-boasting about getting rich from committing unemployment fraud, was arrested Friday in Los Angeles on federal fraud charges.
Bizzle, 31, is accused of scamming more than $1.2 million in pandemic unemployment assistance funds.
Federal prosecutors allege Bizzle and co-conspirators fraudulently obtained at least 92 debit cards pre-loaded with the millions.
He was hit with three felony counts—including access device fraud, aggravated identity theft, and interstate transportation of stolen property.
Bizzle faces up to 22 years in federal prison.
