Naya Rivera, “Glee” actress and mother to toddler son Josey, has been pronounced dead.
In the days since California authorities—including dive teams, a helicopter and a drone—thoroughly searched Lake Piru for the television star, the Ventura County‘s search and rescue crews recovered the TV star’s body Monday morning … 5 days after she went missing in the water.
Rivera, 33, rented the pontoon boat around 1 p.m. Wednesday with her 4-year-old son at Lake Piru, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Eric Buschow.
About three hours later, another boater found Josey alone and sleeping on the vessel. The boy was wearing a life vest but Rivera wasn’t. An adult vest was found on the boat.
