Miya Ponsetto was arrested hours later after her intense interview on ‘CBS This Morning’.
During an exclusive interview with Gayle King, the 22-year-old admitted that she could’ve handled the situation better and considered herself to be a “sweet girl”. She also denied racially profiling the 14-year-old, Keyon Jr.
“I consider myself to be super sweet. I never meant to hurt him or his father, either.” However, Gayle questioned Miya’s contexts of actions, Miya answered, “How is one girl accusing a guy about a phone a crime? Where’s the context in that? What is the deeper story here?”
The more Gayle would antogize Miya for her actions, she became extremely defensive to the point where she told Gayle, “Alright, Gayle. Enough.”
Miya was later arrested in California, according to TMZ. Officials say they have pulled her out of her vehicle in order to make an arrest. Miya is currently being held without bail as she’ll be transferred to NYC.
