Kehlani Sued for Allegedly Crashing Rental Ferrari, and Causing Over $24,000 in Damages

Singer Kehlani is being sued for allegedly crashing a rental Ferrari into an unknown animal or object, while she was filming the music video for “Open (Passionate)(Quarantine Style).” The alleged accident caused over $24,000 in damages.

In the video, Kehlani is allegedly driving in a black Ferrari somewhere in the desert. A Florida company says that the singer rented the luxury sports car and returned it with major damage in legal documents obtained by The Blast.

The suit also claims that back in April the
Ferrari was rented to the singer —via third party rental agency— for her “personal use only.” Since the accident, the car value has gone down by $90,000.The company is asking the judge to determine if the damages were caused by a ‘motor vehicle accident’ and allow them to suspend her license until any judgment is paid.
