As anger over police brutality increases, iPhone users are turning to a new safety feature to have their own record of how police handle situations.

Once installed, by using the voice command, the shortcut can pause any music playing, turn down screen brightness, turn on “Do Not Disturb” mode to block incoming calls, and open the front-facing camera to start recording.

Although the shortcut was originally created in 2018, recent updates and the political climate have allowed the safety feature to rise in popularity again.

The feature will also send a message to a pre-designated contact letting them know where you are and that you’re being pulled over.
