Marcia Grant, an African American mom, and her son Dallas were recently denied service at an Atlas Restaurant Group restaurant in Baltimore, allegedly because of the boy’s casual attire—a black shirt and shorts. Grant has now hired a Civil Rights attorney, and is seeking more than just an apology from the eatery.
The restaurant, Ouzo Bay, has: “a well-established practice of discrimination, and an apology from the restaurant group rings hollow at this point and does nothing for Grant and Dallas,” a spokesperson for Grant tells TMZ.
Since the incident, two managers of the Atlas restaurant have been fired.
